It makes someone be aware of what lead to social change and what are the consequences of all those changes.

A person is able to understand external forces which plays a role in affecting our attitudes , behavior,values and what drives people and ourselves towards success.

Sociology also prepared an individual on the role they can play within society or in the world. In overall it shapes an individual understanding of themselves, others and of the world around them.
