Answer:

Spanish Civil War (1936-1939) --the Spanish Civil War started as the right-wing uprising against the left-wing democratic regime of Spain. Headed by chief Francisco Franco, the national rebels fought the long and violent civil war against their Republican enemies. Franco was received considerable military assistance from Nazi Germany and Fascist Italy. Russia assisted the Republican position. Franco won the battle in 1939 and made up the Fascist regime. The conflict is considered one of the human conflicts leading to World war Two. Hellenic Civil War (1946-1949) --the first significant military battle of the Cold War. Communist rebels endorsed by Yugoslavia and other Communist countries struggled against the pro-Western Greek regime, which was made considerable assistance by the United States and the united kingdom. The battle ended with The government success.

Why was Arabia an unknown world for most of record history
ahrayia [7]

For most of the recorded history, or more specifically till around the period of the expansion of the Arabian Empire, it was a relative unknown for most of the the other countries. It is not that the others didn't knew the region, but the region was not of interest of any of the other countries so it was left mostly unexplored. This was due to several reasons:

- The landscape; it was and still is a desert dominated region, so it was dangerous and unattractive for most people.

- The population; there was a very small population which was predominantly nomadic so it was not of great use for the foreign countries.

- Scarcity of resources; Arabia lacked any significant resources that can increase an interest in the region, and the biggest problem of all was the lack of water since the Arabian Peninsula doesn't have a single constant river flow.
