Different fields of geography will provide a different perspective on how to prepare for the future. For example, climatologists will be familiar with the use of climate change scenarios to plan for the future. Economic geographers will be familiar with models that can forecast the growth of cities within a network and interregional or international trade. Geographers with an interest in water and land resources and soils can help plan for the sustainable use of these resources. However, beyond this, many geographers have expertise in more than one area, and can bring an view of the future that integrates different areas, such as water resources, urban growth, land use change and climate change.

In addition to this integration, geographers begin with a map, and this grounding in spatial patterns has prepared them to understand processes that can change these patterns rapidly and the long-term stability of other spatial patterns.

Which of the following statements CANNOT be attributed to the spread of modern agriculture?
posledela

The correct answers are: II and IV.

''Single-family farms are making higher profits'' and ''mechanized farms require a larger labor force than traditional farms'' are the two statements that are not true about the modern day agriculture.

Single-family farms are not making higher profits, thy are in fact making much less profit, and especially in the developed countries this type of farms are systematically brought to minimum and are on the verge to stop existing.

Mechanized farms do not require larger labor force, totally opposite, they require much less labor force. The whole point of the mechanization is to lower the requirements for labor force and increase the speed and efficiency of the work, so this made it possible that much fewer people to be able to do much more work with the help of the mechanization.

Irina18 [472]

Answer:

On Pluto, where the winter lasts for half of the nearly 250-year orbital period, temperatures undoubtedly do drop to such low values. On the Earth and other planets with an atmosphere, so-called greenhouse gases can trap part of the heat radiated by the surface, keeping the surface warmer.
