Answer = $80 , Reasoning is below :

The main question in this problem is "find the cost of renting a bike for 5 days"

Step One , determine the cost rates/fees :

It costs $30 to rent a bike, After you rent the bike it's $10 for each day you keep the bike.

Step Two , Create an equation :

C = cost , D = days

We rent the bike , so that's $30c and we keep it for 5 more days, that's 10*5 because it's $10 a day. 10c * 5d = $50c.
_________________________________________________________

Let's go back to the original question :

"Find the cost of renting a bike for 5 days."

The cost in total for renting the bike for 5 days is $50 + $30 because of the renting fee so it's $80.

I really hope that this helps you out a lot , have a wonderful day!

Answer:

52/63

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the expression;

4/7 * 13/9

WE are to take the product

= (4/9)* (13/7)

= (4*13)/(7*9)

= 52/63

Hence the required fraction is 52/63

gavmur [86]

Answer:

 none

Step-by-step explanation:

The domain of the equation can be found by looking at the requirements ...

 • the square root is non-negative
 • the argument of the square root is non-negative.

Domain

For n+2 ≥ 0, we find ...

 n ≥ -2 . . . . . . . . subtract 2 from both sides

For -16-5n ≥ 0, we find ...

 -16 ≥ 5n . . . . . add 5n

 -3.2 ≥ n . . . . . divide by 5

Together, these domain restrictions require that ...

 n ≥ -2

 n ≤ -3.2

These intervals do not overlap, so there are no values of n that can satisfy this equation.

__

Additional comment

The solutions would appear on the attached graph as points where the curves intersect above the x-axis. They do not intersect, hence the equation has zero solutions.

__

If we were to solve this without regard to domain restrictions, we would square both sides to get ...

 (n +2)² = -16 -5n

 n² +9n +20 = 0 . . . . . put in standard form

 (n +4)(n +5) = 0 . . . . . factor

 n = {-5, -4} . . . . . . . . . both are extraneous solutions.

These "solutions" do not satisfy the requirement that the square root be positive.
