total current= IT =?

in parallel resistor inductor circuit =ET =EL= ER = 240V

IT =  Square root [ (IR)² + (IL)²]

IR = ER/R

 = 240V / 27kΩ

 = 240V / 27000Ω                  ( IKΩ = 1000Ω)

  = 0.008 ampere.

IL = EL / XL

  = 240V / 47 KΩ

  =240 V / 47000Ω          ( IKΩ = 1000Ω)

  = 0.005 amperes

IT = Square root [ (0.008)² +( 0.005) ²]

 = Square root [ 8.9 ×10^-5]

 = 9.4×10^-3 ampere
