Answer:

645.866 or 646

Step-by-step explanation:

645.866 is the sum of 8/15+ 645/1 +1/3

1/3 = 0.333 + 8/15 = 0.533 = 0.866

645+ 0.866= 645.866

If we are asked to round these to units

we have 646

In the following diagram, PQRS is a square of sides 21 cm. PTS and QTR are two semicircles touching each other at T.
Free_Kalibri [48]

Answer:

94.6cm^{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

First we will find the area of Square PQRS.

Area of Square PQRS = Length x Width = 21 x 21

= 441cm^{2}

Next we will found the Area of Semicircles PS and QR.

Note: Area of Semicircle PS = Area of Semicircle QR

Area of Semicircle = \frac{1}{2} \pi r^{2}

Total Area of Semicircles PS and QR combined = 2(\frac{1}{2} \pi r^{2} )\\=\pi r^{2}

We know that the diameter of PS = QR = 21 cm (due to the length of the square)

Radius = Half of Diameter = 0.5 x 21cm = 10.5cm

Total Area of Semicircles PS and QR = \pi (10.5)^{2} \\=110.25\pi cm^{2}

Finally,

Area of Shaded Region = Area of Rectangle PQRS - Total Area of Semicircles PS and QR

= 441 - 110.25\pi\\= 94.6cm^{2} (1dp)

In this case , you can choose the nearest answer as there might be some rounding differences.

Answer:

Wrong

Step-by-step explanation:

100 divided by 100 would simply be equal to one.

If you had 100 things and split it into 100 groups, you'd have 100 groups of just one single thing.

30 POINTS<br> PLEASE HELP<br> 9 - 12
tino4ka555 [31]
Lol ok

Well, for 9 if you use a calculator the square root of five to the nearest thousandths is -2.24. So the -1.96 is greater.

For 10, it will be -3. Why? Well there are only 2 negative numbers -3 and -6/5. If you simplify -6/5 it equals -1.2. -1.2 is greater than -3 so -3 will be the smallest number.

For 11, I can't really see the square root thing on thr far right if you can take amother picture I'll help :)

For 12, square root of 8 rounded to the nearest thousandth is 2.83. Square root of 5 rounded is 2.24. So the order form smallest to largest is 2 1/3, square root of 5, 2.5, then last of all square root of 8.
