When a body is doing a high intensity activity, the cardiorespiratory system works to provide oxygen to the muscles of the body. This ability of providing oxygen rich blood to the heart, blood vessels and lungs efficiently, is called as the Cardiovascular endurance.  

Cardiovascular endurance tells us that how well the body can provide blood during a physical activity like running, cycling, aerobics, etc, for a longer period, more than 90 seconds.

Cardiovascular Endurance has many health related benefits. One of the main benefit of cardiovascular endurance is the longer life. Some other benefits may include:

  • Lower Blood Pressures
  • Regulation of Blood Sugar
  • Reduction of Chronic pains
  • Better Sleep
  • Regulation of Body Weight
  • Strengthening of Immune System, etc
