According to Churchill, the continuation of British life as it is currently known is at stake in the battle against Germany. The lengthy traditions of Great Britain are a stake.

Wunston Churchull was a British politician, army officer, and writer. He served as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1940 to 1945, when he led Britain to victory in the Second World War, and again from 1951 to 1955. The continuation of British life as it is currently known.

Further Explanation:

Churchill was a prolific British statesman who spearheaded the British war effort during the Second half of the second world war, taking over the former minister Clement Attlee.Churchill had predicted the rise of Hitler and Germany’s aggression even before the World War commenced. He had seen significant events during the First World War and was convinced that Germany was aiming to oust Britain from her position of being an economic and naval power. Germany’s constant colonial expansion alarmed British politicians, and Winston Churchill was always suspicious of German motives, even if they would extend a hand of co-operation. Churchill was especially critical of Neville Chamberlain’s policy of appeasement, as he believed that the Germans were just putting up a facade of peace with the Czechs, their real motive was to expand German territory by annexing the whole of Czechoslovakia.

Churchill was further convinced of German aggression when he understood Hitler’s ambitions at creating a unified Germany, that would gather the most productive industrial regions of Western Europe, and become an Economic power. He was aware of Hitler’s extreme criticism of democratic institutions and feared that Nazism and fascism would destroy and shatter the very ideal of democratic institutional-ism. He believed that Nazi Germany posed a severe threat to these time-honored conventions and institutions of Britain. Thus, Britain and her allies needed to join their forces and efforts together to combat these evil forces of fascism, so that British interests and that of her allies would remain unharmed.

How do outside forces (society, biology, privilege, school, etc) influence your belief on fate vs free will
Alina [70]

Answer:

There are two main positions in the world regarding spirituality and the existence of higher entities: the one that establishes that faith in a divinity is a way to achieve objectives with the help of that higher being, which guides individuals on the path of the religions; and the one that maintains that free will is ultimately what regulates the results of men's actions, as only these can determine their destiny through their actions.

Today, society, educational and religious institutions, science and even the socioeconomic conditions of each person determine the way in which they think about the issue, and what position they take on it. Thus, for example, education in science, biology, physics and other branches of the natural sciences advocates the path of free will, seeking rational explanations for natural phenomena, with which the individual immersed in this environment is most likely not religious; while those people raised in more conservative environments, with a more humanistic approach or focused on the social sciences will most likely defend the path of faith as the one through which greater personal development is achieved.
