In the standard (x,y) coordinate plane, point A has coordinates (−4,0) and point B has coordinates (0,−8). What are the coordinates of the midpoint of AB? How can i solve this ?

$M=(\frac{-4+0}{2};(\frac{0+(-8)}{2})\\ \\ M=(\frac{-4}{2}; \frac{-8}{2})\\ \\M=(-2;-4)$
