1: Our current president/presidential race: During this election season, many people reportedly only voted for the candidates they did because it was the “Lesser Evil”. As such, this implies that people were not satisfied with how these candidates handled issues, and as such might then start their own party in order to solve these issues as they see fit.

2: They want power: Many people want power, and may make a political party just to be powerful. People are evil narcissists, guys. Including all of us.
