Answer:

Instructions are listed below

Explanation:

Giving the following information:

Overhead is allocated to each job based on the number of direct labor hours spent on that job.

At the beginning of the current year:

The estimated overhead= $66,750.

Estimated direct labor hours= 4,450

In November, Leisure started and completed the following two jobs:

Job 101

Direct materials used= $16,000

Direct labor hours used=195

Job 102

Direct materials used= $ 10,500

Direct labor hours used= 72

Leisure paid a $30 per hour wage rate.

A) predetermined overhead rate= total estimated manufacturing overhead/ total amount of allocation base

predetermined overhead rate= 66,750/4450= $15 hour

B) Job 101:

Manufacturing overhead allocated= direct labor hours*predetermined overhead rate

Manufacturing overhead allocated= 195*15= $2925

Job 102:

Manufacturing overhead allocated= 72*15= $1080

C) Job 101:

Total cost= direct materials + direct labor + manufacturing overhead

Total cost= 16000 + 195*30 + 2925= $24,775

Job 102:

Total cost= 10500 + 72*30 + 1080= $13740

Oliga [24]

Answer:

The correct option is e. The company's value of operations one year from now is expected to be 5% above the current price.

Explanation:

Free cash flow (FCF) refers to the cash that a company generates after taking into consideration cash outflows needed to support operations and maintain the capital assets of the company.

When the free cash flow of a company is expected to grow at a certain constant rate, the implication is that the the value of operations of that company one year from the current period is expected to be higher than the current price.

Based on the explanation above, the correct option is e. The company's value of operations one year from now is expected to be 5% above the current price.

B. the 1990 Budget Enforcement Act

Question2 Every hour, the federal government spends about

B. $250 thousand

Explanation:

The act came as a response to the impending recession the western markets in the 1990 fiscal year which was to hit USA particularly hard. This came as a result of and in contrast with many conservative measures taken by the President George W Bush Sr up until that point.

The president had been saying till then that  the opposition and the population could read his lips that there will not be new taxes.

It did happen though as this law allowed the government to increase taxation rates to cover governmental spending.

puteri [66]

Answer:

Your opportunity cost of attending a game compared with the opportunity cost facing a college student 10 years ago is:

A) higher, because more games are televised today.

Opportunity costs are the cost of choosing one alternative from another.

In this case, when college students attend college football games they are unable to do other activities, not only while they are at the stadium or going to the stadium, but they are not able to purchase other goods. The cost of those alternatives that are lost are higher now because many college football games are televised now, before if you wanted to see a game you had to go to the game. So a student is now able to watch the game while doing other activities, or saving money for buying something else.

Can this change in opportunity cost account for the decline in college football attendance?

B) Yes, because these changes increase the opportunity cost of watching football games in person.

Even though opportunity costs do not involve actual cash payments, they are still important and individuals do consider them when they are choose one option over another. E.g. imagine if you had to choose between spending a considerable amount of money by attending a game (ticket, gas, beverages, etc.) or watching that game on TV and buying a few clothes instead or going on a date, etc. What option would you choose?
