Bands of marauders crashed through the boundary defenses of the region and began to raid the rich farmlands of the center. The confusion and chaos of war in Georgia and the Carolinas appeared in the Walton War. This was a war which was fought over the lands that nobody wanted to establish its control. In this war, the private bands of marauders were the one who took advantage.
