Native Americans were generally not respected or treated well by Europeans. When European settlers arrived to America, they usually stole the lands of the Native people, pushing them into other territories and killing many. Although some collaborated with each other, in general, relationships between the two groups were complicated and negative. There are several reasons for this. The difference in culture often meant that the settlers and the Native people had very different ideas when it came to the use of resources, private property, land, agriculture and many other factors. All of this led to significant conflict. Moreover, European ideas usually centered on the supremacy of white people, which led them to disregard the ideologies of the Native people.

EUROPEANS AND AMERICANS HAD A LOT OF DIFFERENCES REGARDING CULTURE, VALUES AND SOCIAL FACTORS, EVEN THOUGH THE WAY THEY DRESSED AND LOOKED, SO THEY HAVE A LOT OF ASPECTS THAT DIFFERENTIATE EACH OTHER, IT IMPLIED, SOME MISUNDERSTANDINGS TAKING INTO ACCOUNT SOCIAL INTERACTIONS, BELIEFS, AND THE MOST IMPORTANT THING THE WAY THEY CONCEIVED THEIR LANDS. EUROPEANS TREATED NATIVE AMERICANS LIKE THEY WERE THEIR ALLIES, THEY ALWAYS COOPERATE WITH THE AMERICANS, THEY GAVE AMERICANS WEAPONS TO FIGHT AGAINST THEIR ENEMIES. HOWEVER, AFTER THAT TIME OR PERIOD, NATIVE AMERICANS MANUFACTURED THEIR OWN WEAPONS. DESPITE OF THEIR A LOT DIFFERENCES, CULTURAL ASPECTS WERE THE MOST RELEVANT ONE OVER TIME, AND THE MOST IMPACTED FACTOR WAS THE TRADE.

How did the start of the American Revolution change the lives of women in the colonies?
GREYUIT [131]
Women participated by boycotting British goods, producing goods for soldiers, spying on the British, and serving in the armed forces disguised as men. The war also affected the lives of women who remained loyal to the crown, or those who remained politically neutral; in many cases, the impact was devastating.

What happened to jobs for women after the end of World War I?
neonofarm [45]
Women formed labor unions to fight discrimination in the workplace.

After the end of World War I, women formed labor unions to fight discrimination in the workplace. This happened in response to a general climate that saw women as people that could be used during the war, to replace soldiers, but nothing more. Once they have experimented with work and pay for themselves, women continued to want them, even when people around them told them to return to do more feminine jobs.

What is the y intercept if y= mx+b with a slope of -4 passing through the point (1,-9)
levacccp [35]

Answer:

Explanation:

A TIP

Since the slope is given to you, you already know part of the equation. slope is equal to mx. So y=-4x. the B in y=mx+b is y-intercept. The y intercept is where the line comes in contact with the y axis. On a coordinate plane the y intercept would be Y [ex; (x,y)]. It gives you (3,8) so the y intercept would be +8 since the point is positive and not negative.
