12 is the answer.

To find the range take the biggest number and subtract it by the smallest number.

12 - 0 = 12 ( it's really asking for how many digits in between )

Find the slope of the line passing through the points (4, 4) and (4, - 4) .
sveticcg [70]

Answer:

  • Slope = undefined

Step-by-step explanation:

<u>We know that:</u>

  • Slope Formula = y₂ - y₁/x₂ - x₁

<u>Solution:</u>

  • y₂ - y₁/x₂ - x₁ = -4 - 4/4 - 4
  • => -8/0 = undefined

Since the slope of the line is un-defined, the line is vertical. Please look at my graph to understand better.

The ratio of Isabella's money to Shane's money is 3:11. If Isabella has $33, how much money do Shane and Isabella have together?
Sergio039 [100]
The ratio of Isabella’s money to Shane’s money is 3:11

Isabella has $33.

We can make a proportion to solve for how much money Shane has.
A proportion is two ratios that are set equal to each other.

Let’s call Shane’s money ‘S’

We get this proportion:   3/11 = 33/x

If we cross multiply we get:
(33) * (11) = (3) * (x)

Simplifying it, we get:
363 = (3) * (x)

Divide both sides by 3, we get:
x = 121

However, the question asks how much money they have together.

Isabella + Shane = Total
33 + 121 = $154

<span>They have $154 together.</span>

Lester’s car can go 15.4 miles on 1 gallon of gas. How far can he go on 0.7 gallon?
MAVERICK [17]

Answer:

He can go 10.78 miles

Step-by-step explanation:

This problem can be solve by creating a proportion, knowing that 15.4 miles is to one gallon the same as "x" miles (our unknown) is to 0.7 gallons. This can be set in math terms as the equation that relates these two ratios of miles per gallon:

\frac{15.4\,miles}{1\,gallon} =\frac{x }{0.7\,gallon}

and to solve for the unknown number of mile, we multiply both sides of the equation by "0.7 gallon" in order to isolate our unknown:

\frac{15.4\,miles}{1\,gallon} =\frac{x}{0.7\,gallon}\\\frac{15.4\,miles\,*\,0.7\,gallon}{1\,gallon} =x \\x=10.78\,miles
