Why do you think the Terrible Things take away the animals one group at a time?
Alex73 [517]
his book basically represents what happened during the holocaust ... just in a different form. The terrible things (a.k.a. the Nazis) take away the animals (a.k.a. the different groups of people persecuted during the holocaust) one at a time because it was easy. The Nazis in real life did the same thing. By taking groups one at a time no large uproar was caused. If they had taken more animals, there might have been a larger negative reaction and possibly a revolt. The animals were able to justify the other animals being taken away, and by justifying the terrible thing's reasoning and actions they made it easier for the terrible things to continue. As for the last question ... often people do not listen to one lone voice in a crowd, especially one that in young and supposedly "inexperienced." Unfortunately for us, children are often able see things in a different and more "black and white" light, and by not listening to what they have to say we all lose out. H

Trava [24]

Answer:

C) two-way immersion

Explanation:

Important feature of the situation given above is that some students are Spanish and some English native speakers. Unlike the situations where majority of students is native in one language, and where the best approach would be one-way immersion, here, the best instructional approach would be two-way immersion. In this approach, two groups of students serve as both, the language model for their native language, and learners of the other language.

Before beginning an exercise program, a person should always A. have a medical exam to make sure it's safe to begin exercising.
erica [24]
You should always have a medical exam to make sure it's safe to begin exercising. This can prevent potential damages to your body, or keep current problems from becoming worse. Regardless of whether or not you are exercising, you should have a check-up with your doctor at least once a year.
