Answer:

radius = 2.8 ft

circumference = 17.584 ft

area = 24.62 ft²

Step-by-step explanation:

Diameter of a circle is also two times the radius, or d = 2r, where d = diameter and r = radius. If diameter is 5.6, radius is:

5.6 = 2r (divide by 2) r = 2.8 ft.

The formula for the circumference of a circle is:  C = 2πr or C = dπ, where r = radius, d = diameter and π = 3.14.  For the rug:

C = 5.6π or 5.6(3.14) = 17.584 ft.

The formula for area of a circle is: A = πr². For the rug:

A = 3.14(2.8)² = 24.62 ft²

Hello!!!

The Graph's Answer is below

Nicole's Pattern                   Ian's Pattern               Coordinate's Plane

1                                                 0                                   ( 1,0)

5                                                 1                                   (5,1)

17                                                3                                 (17,3)

53                                               7                                (53,7)

161                                               15                              (161,15)

In order to get these answers, you start with 1 one Nicole's equation, and mutliply by 3, which gets you three. You then add two, which gets you five, after this, you continue to add Nicole's answer by three, then add five.For Ian's answer,you start with 0,then you add 1/2, which gives you .5 After you have this .5 you multiply by 2,which gives you one whole, you continue to add a half and mutliply by 2 for each answer. Nicole's answer is X,which means it is used first in our parentheses ( ),while ian's is Y and is used second.

I HOPE THIS HELPS! Good luck on your assignment and let me know if you need help with anything else <3!
