Tort Laws - a tort law in Greek meant that someone that has made an illegal change to your house or personal property. Murder is also a tort law and the punishment is very strict.

Family Laws - laws created to tell how the man and woman in a family should behave. Also wrote about marriage and adoption.

Public Laws - public laws were given to how public services were provided and how it should be done.

Courts and Judicial System - created the court system to punish offenders of the other laws. However, there were no “judges” or higher ups. Just two people arguing why they should win and the other should be punished.

Law Givers - were not rulers or kings, but appointed law officials whose only job was to write laws. We’re mostly middle class men OF the highest class.
