24 + 11 = 35 + 11 = 46 + 11 = 57 + 11 = 68 +11 = 79 + 11 = 90 + 11 = 101
17 + 12 = 29 + 12 = 41 + 12 = 53 + 12 = 65 + 12 = 77 + 12 = 89 + 12 = 101

$101, 7 months

Find the Y INTERCEPT and SLOPE of the line
5x+3y= -4
Y INTERCEPT=
SLOPE=
Veronika [31]
Rearrange the equation so the left side starts out as y =

5x + 3y = -4
3y = -5x - 4
y = (-5/3)x - (4/3)

the slope is in front of the x and the y-intercept iis the other number
slope is -5/3
y-interxept = -4/3

Answer:

17.861 feet or 17.9 feet (3 sf)

Step-by-step explanation:

180 - 36 - 87 = 57

X/sin(87) = 15/sin(57)

X = 17.861 feet

How to find intersections of two overlapping circles with complicated equations?
Lorico [155]
Option 1: Graph both equations to see where they intersect. If they do not intersect at lattice points, then use the substitution method.

Option 2: Use substitution method of system of equations
Equation of a circle: (x-h)² + (y-k)² = r²
Choose one of the equations and solve for one of the variables
(I am choosing to solve for y)::
(y-k)² = r² - (x-h)²
|y - k| = √(r² - (x-h)²)
y - k = +/- √(r² - (x-h)²)
     y = k +/- √(r² - (x-h)²)

Now, substitute k +/- √(r² - (x-h)²) for y into the other equation to solve for x.
Substitute those x values into y = k +/- √(r² - (x-h)²) to solve for y.

Hope this makes sense!
