In southern Mexico the was more places that they could live with everything that they needed because it was such a small area surrounded by water which made farming easier and getting drinking water. Although when it flooded they were forced to rebuild their homes because the flood would have destroyed them. They couldn’t move very far north because they are used to warmer weather and the further north of the equator you are the colder it gets and most of them would die from the cold, not knowing what to do.

the acquisition of land in the West before 1845 were similiar to land acquisitions after 1845 because they both were motivated b
Vinil7 [7]

Land acquisition in the West before 1845 were comparable to those made after 1845 since both were driven by the contentious desire to construct industries close to mineral riches.

Define land acquisition.

The acquisition procedure entails making propositions to landowners and giving the Tribe exercising jurisdiction the voluntary sold interests. Prior to the American Civil War, the concept of Manifest Destiny was employed to ensure continental acquisitions in the Oregon Country, Texas, New Mexico, and California (1861–65). After the Civil War, Manifest Destiny was once again promoted, Hawaii was annexed, and ideas for an isthmian canal to connect Central America were made.
