A drawer contains 19 black socks and 19 white socks. If the light is off and Matt reaches into the drawer to get his​ socks, what is the minimum number of socks he must pull out in order to be sure that he has a matching​ pair?

I think 10 cause if you were to split the number in half, 10 and 9 would come out of that, and 10 is also a bigger number. I feel that the higher number you get, the better of a chance. But that's just my opinion.
