The car salesman makes a base salary of $2,000. He also gets $1,000 for every car he sells. And it asks us, "<span>How much does he earn for each car sold?"

The variable x is how many cars he sold. In this one.

Now the equation is this: 2000 + 1000(1)
Now solve.
2000 = 1000(1) = 2000 + 1000 = 3000

So our car salesman would have made $3,000 in a month.</span>

krok68 [10]

Answer:

-5/6

Step-by-step explanation:

(25/4)^(3x) = 32/3125

Rewrite as powers of 2 and 5:

(5²/2²)^(3x) = 2⁵/5⁵

Rewrite the left side as the inverse:

(2²/5²)^(-3x) = 2⁵/5⁵

Solve for the exponent:

-3x = 5/2

Solve for x:

x = -5/6

Think:  Let that triangular area be the base of this triangular prism.  Find this area.  Formula for the area of a triangle is:

A = (1/2)bh, where b is the length of the base (of the triangle) and h is the height (of the triangle).

Next, multiply this area by the length of this triangular prism.

Step-by-step explanation:

d = rt so to isolate r you divide both sides by t, leaving you with r=d/t

its basically speed=distance/time, or s=d/t if that's more farmiliar to you
