A sentence with an independent clause and dependent clause(again)
ad-work [718]

Answer:

Explanation:

The rain fell heavily when the clouds thickened and darkened.

That's an example of one.

The independent clause is The rain fell heavily. Those 4 words will stand by themselves as a complete thought. The dependent clause is when the clouds thickened and darkened.

The dependent clause tells you when it rains heavily. It will not stand on its own.

Many of the Egyptian gods are associated with animals. What are some of these animals? Why do you think these particular animals
Artemon [7]
Well, Horus had a falcon head, Bast was a cat goddess, and Nekhbet is the vulture goddess. The Egyptians believed that these animals had special powers, and the personality of the god or goddess depended on the animal they stood for, like Anubis had a jackal head, and helps with the Underworld (i guess that's what it's called). What does comparing her life to her friend’s life suggest about Maya? Cite text evidence.
Novay_Z [31]

Answer:

Explanation:

We can't see the text so I am just going to base it off the sentence in positive and negative ways. So, first Maya comparing her life to her friends may come off as negative becuase she might be jelous of her friend's life. The positive otcome could be she is observant, she notices the little differences or similarities in their families. But, overall I would suggest Maya is the jelous type.
