  • Once there was a man in a tribe without a name. The youth had to give him a name. One summer evening, he went hunting to the hills.
  • From there, he saw some canoes near the shore. The men, Shuswaps got down from the canoes and walked into the forest. So he broke all the canoes and kept only one for himself.
  • When the men saw him doing that, they rushed to the shore. But before they could reach, he escaped and reached the shore.
  • Then he broke the canoe in which he escaped. The men only yelled angrily at him.
