Hi! Technology doesn’t really have to exactly do with the five themes or cultural norms. A and C are out. I’m not exactly sure about the five sub fields, but I know that can’t be it either. It’s definitely making maps, because now you have GPS’s, and other technological gadgets to help you know where you are, where you’re going, and where each place is located at. The answer is D: making maps.

Find the distance between each pair of points<br> (-5.2, 7) and (3,- 4)
Nadusha1986 [10]

Answer:

13.72units

Explanation:

Given parameters:

   Coordinates of the two points  =  (-5.2, 7) and (3,- 4)

Unknown:

Distance between the two points = ?

Solution:

To find the distance between two points, we use the mathematical expression below;

   D = \sqrt{(x_{2}-x_{1}  )^{2} + (y_{2} - y_{1} )^{2}   }

 From the given coordinates;

        x₁  = -5.2      x₂  = 3

        y₁ = 7             y₂ = -4

Now; input the parameters and solve;

  D  = \sqrt{[3-(-5.2)]^{2} + (-4 -7)^{2}  } = \sqrt{67.24 + 121} = 13.72units

The distance between the two points is 13.72units
