I believe the part of the cell theory you can use to refute his claim is that cells are the smallest unit of life and more importantly that all cells come from other living cells.

Answer:

Francesco Redi  theory

Explanation:

He proved that the spontaneous generation does not exit. If the maggots appear in the rotten garbage is because there were another living thing that flies near the garbage and left their eggs. Because the living things come from another living thing, not appear suddenly.

Answer:

B. "Whispered pectoriloquy" - "speaking from the chest"; used as a means of finding masses in the lung. The whispered word is audible in areas where fluid or a mass is present

Explanation:

Auscultation in medicine, is the action of listening to sounds from the heart, lungs, or other organs, usually using a stethoscope, in order to perform medical diagnosis.

Auscultation is performed for the purposes of examining the circulatory and respiratory systems, as well as the alimentary canal. The procedure is best performed in a quiet examination room. A stethoscope is used to magnify internal sounds. Small changes in breath sounds are carefully observed in order to make a diagnosis.

Whispered pectoriloquy is used to detect vocal resonance. It is  used as a means of finding masses (consolidations e.g. pus) in the lung and is performed by having the patient quietly whisper a word. If fluid or a mass is present, words that are whispered may be heard clearly.

Lena [83]
Homeostasis is the process by which organisms maintain internal environment constant. Anaplasia is the lack of differentiation of neoplastic cells. Histology is the study of the microscopic structures of tissues and a histologist is a person who has studied histology. Atresia is the absence of a normal opening or failure of a structure to be tubular. Therefore the correct answer is Homeostasis

Which of the following is a major difference between lactic acid and alcohol fermentation?
katrin2010 [14]
The major difference between lactic acid and alcohol fermentation is the products that are produced.  In the 'L.A' fermentation, lactic acid and 150 kJ of energy is produced while in alcohol fermentation, alongside the alcohol (ethanol) and the 210 kJ of energy, carbon dioxide is produced.

In lactic acid fermentation:
 C₆H₁₂O₆  ₋₋₋₋₋₋₋₋>  2C₃H₆O₃   +    Δ150 kJ

while in alcohol fermentation:
 C₆H₁₂O₆  -----------> 2C₂H₅OH   +   2CO₂  +  Δ210 kJ
