b. provide just compensation.

d. obtain permission of the landowner.

In the United States, Eminent domain is the power of the federal government or the state governments to acquire a private property in order to convert it into public use, while providing just compensation for the landowner, which in turn will give the government permission to possess the land; such compensation is protected in the Fifth Amendment to the Constitution.

Very often, the government uses eminent domain when a person's property is situated in an area where a major infrastructure will be built, like a railway station, for example.

Why do some societies have difficulty participating in the communications revolution?
prisoha [69]
This is usually the result of an underdeveloped infrastructure or lack of technological achievements. The communication revolution requires countries to have highly advanced infrastructure that can support making a huge communications web and many countries have historically been destroyed by wars or have generally been poor and couldn't develop in that field, which means that nowadays they can't enter it quickly.

Where does china's barriers lead to?
NeX [460]

Answer:

isolation

Explanation:

China was one of the first civilizations in the world. This civilization, unlike the others, was actually very isolated from the rest of the ancient civilizations. The main reason for the isolation were the natural barriers. Between China and the other civilizations were standing the largest mountain range in the world, the Himalayas, and several large deserts. This discouraged people both from China and from the other civilizations from moving through this areas and see what's on the other side. This resulted in developing a very unique culture in China that was not influenced by any other culture. Also, this civilization was developing totally independently, and it actually managed to surpass the other civilizations in many aspects, while they were not even aware of its existence, or just knew that it existed but had no real idea about it. China only opened up properly to the world after it was invaded and ruled by the Mongols.
