Since countries typically share cultures similar to the countries near them, it is important to understand geography in order to be able to comprehend how other cultures and other people's ideas form. For example, India was isolated from other areas due to the Himalaya mountains. Therefore, even though it is close to China on a map. Culturally, the two are distinct thanks to geography. Without understanding the geography of the two regions, one would falsely assume that the two were the same. Moreover, landforms typically dictate wars, especially wars that do not involve drones. On the other hand, Switzerland has been untouched by war for the most part since it is surrounded by the Alps. In daily life, people love to today about politics, especially considering today's political climate.
