Do you think the mood of the speaker in Thomas Hardy's "The Darkling Thrush" changes because of the thrush's song? Explain in a
zhuklara [117]
I believe that the thrush's song changed the mood. It was a song filled with hope which inspired Hardy to gain hope. The Darking thrust was a bird who was described as weak, very fragile and whose feathers that were blown around by a strong wind. Even though he was described as this weak and fragile thing he still sacrificed himself. Hope this helps

Please help short writing about Midsummer,
pickupchik [31]
The night air was warm, beckoning anyone to come and sit on the inviting patio, where the master had constructed it with his own worn-out hands. Fireflies lit the patio up with their twinkly yellow lights that made anyone love the season of summer.

How is the following line a metaphor:
Then they swarm around me,
A hive of honeybees.
gavmur [86]

Answer: More context surrounding the question would help me to better solve the question.

Explanation:

I am guessing the following line is an excerpt from some class-sanctioned reading material. The sentence is a metaphor because it literally compares the swarming of whatever is surrounding the Character to a group of bees buzzing around their hive. Bees are small and lovely insects that often fly fast - by comparing their flight patterns to whatever your main character might be going through gives off the impression that they are in a stressful situation.
