This isn't necessarily true, so I would have to disagree.
Although there are certainly instances of people bending the rules in order to become successful, I believe that most of them are where they are due to their talent and perhaps luck. Most of them didn't have to bend the rules - they earned their way to the top by trying hard and being bold.

The phrases are from the Federalist Independent Journal by Alexander Hamilton. The paragraph has been depicting that Hamilton has been asking the people of the US for the coming new constitution of the US.

It has been shown that the US has been in the subsiding of the federal government, and the new constitution of the US has to be built. It has been shown that since the US has been working for the safety and welfare of the world, everyone has focused on the new constitution.

World War II _______ was a global conflict involving nearly every nation in the world.
Alja [10]
It would be answer "a"- because if you are not putting the commas in, it would be just a run-on sentence. So, it would be, "World War II, which lasted from 1939 to 1945, was a global conflict involving nearly every nation in the world." Having the commas in will help the reader digest and sink the information in on what the topic is, without the sentence just running through without any commas. Hope this helps. =)
