If you split them into fours they look like half circles. To find the perimeter of a WHOLE circle the equation is (pi)r(square). Divide 32 in half and you’ll get 16. 16x16=256 and then you divide THAT in half and you get 128. Just add that four all and you should get 512.

Identify the point from the equation: y + 5 = 3(x - 2)
Mice21 [21]

Answer:

The point is (2,-5)

Step-by-step explanation:

we have

y+5=3(x-2)

This is the equation of the line written in point slope form

so

y-y1=m(x-x1)

where

The slope is equal to

m=3

The point (x1,y1) is

(2,-5)

therefore

The point is (2,-5)

Heather manages a company that currently has 35 employees, e, and is gaining 5 new employees each month. Which equation below ca
Veseljchak [2.6K]

Answer:

T = 5e + 35

Step-by-step explanation:

We start with 35 employees, which is the y-intercept. Then, 5 employees are gained each month, which is slope. Using 5e + 35, we can easily substitute 4 for e, which would give 55 employees in 4 months.

Solve the inequality. Graph the solution set. 26 +6b>2(3b+4)
Novosadov [1.4K]

Answer:

True for all b

Interval notation; (-∞, ∞)

Step-by-step explanation:

We have been given the following inequality;

26+6b>2(3b+4)

The first step is to open the brackets on the right hand side;

26+6b>6b+8

26-8>6b-6b

18>0

Since 18 is actually greater than 0, the solution set to the inequality is;

True for all b.

Why is the notation startfraction dy over dx endfraction used to represent the derivative?
kkurt [141]

We know \frac{dy}{dx} expression is used for represent the derivative.

Actually, derivative is the second name of " Rate of Change".

And if we read \frac{dy}{dx}, it represents the "Rate of change of y with respect to x".

In simple words, a derivative is the rate of change or slope of a very small portion of a function.

dy represents very small change in y-coordinate and dx represents very small change in x-coordinate.

Because deriviate is the second name of " a very small rate of change".

We use \frac{dx}{xy} to represent the derivative.
