Answer:

C. Blockading southern ports

Explanation:

The plan was actually to create a blockade in the South Littoral. With the coast blocked, the troops would go down through the Mississippi river, dividing the south in 2. The idea was that, if divided in 2 sections the south would be much easier to control.

Answer:

Option C.

Explanation:

Controlling the Mississippi River, is the right answer.

Throughout the Civil War in the U.S. the Union made attempts to establish a blockade around the southern states. This plan was a portion of a larger plan known as the Anaconda Plan. This larger plan received its name Anaconda Plan due to the very fact that the way in which the union wanted to compress the South look like a snake. The main strategy of the Union was to surround the borders of southern states, keeping the supplies out. Following this, the army would split into two and gain control of the Mississippi River.

What is constructivism?

Constructivism is defined as "a learning method that maintains that people actively create or make their own education and that truth is determined by the learner's experiences."

Some characteristics of constructivism are-

 • Arends (1998) elaborates constructivist principles by stating as constructivism believes in the learner's personal production of meaning through experience, but that meaning is determined by the interaction of past knowledge and new occurrences.
 • The core notion of constructivism is that human cognition is created, that learners to build new information on the base of existing knowledge.
 • The prior knowledge influences the new or modified knowledge that an individual constructs as a result of fresh learning experiences.
 • Learners basically use their foreknowledge as a foundation & build on it with new information.
