Rosevelt announced his intention to expand the Supreme Court with six more members to have 15. The announcement was made on February 5, 1937. The Bill name was The Judicial Procedures Reform Bill of 1937, and Rosevelt’s main goal was to obtain the support of the Supre Court for his New Deal program. The Bill was never voted.
