The final days of WWII were tough. You had the war going on for America on two fronts, Japan and Europe. The H-Bomb was also invented in WWII in America by Oppenheimer and his team. America used it on Japan towards V-J day. They dropped two of the Atomic Bombs, one on Hiroshima and the other on Nagasaki. They killed hundreds of thousands of people innocent and guilty. They caused cancer, radiation poisoning, and birth defects for many generations. In Europe we had the Holocaust where Hitler was attempting a genocide of the Jews and anyone there who was a minority, he committed suicide rather than face the Nuremberg Trials which was used for punishment for crimes committed during the war. During the war 60 Million were killed. Many people migrated to America to seek a new life for themselves and a fresh start.
