Answer: The correct answer is D: Add complementary nucleotides.

Explanation: DNA polymerases are enzymes that catalyze reactions in the process of DNA replication (process where complementary chains are created from existing DNA). From a template DNA, this enzyme adds deoxyribonucleotide triphosphate (dNTP) that will be complementary to the nucleotides of the template chain. DNA polymerases also perform other functions during the replication process. In addition to participating in elongation, perform a corrective and restorative function due to its 3 'exonuclease activity, which gives them the ability to degrade DNA from one end of the latter, thus avoiding errors produced during DNA replication.

I’m not sure if that’s the answer but what immediately pops up in my mind is the food chain. Primary consumers (herbivores) consume producers (plants). Secondary consumers consume primary consumers etc. At the end of the day, all kinds of animals die and decompose, providing nutrients for producers to grow, continuing the circle of life.
Lion is a top predator that hunts secondary consumers. Simba’s father died and contribute to the circle of life. I hope it gave you some pointers!
