The Shang dynasty was the first to build advanced settlements in China. They created a huge walls for their cities, bronze technology for militia, they had chariots, their own religion, a calendar, and could even write. These are only few of the many achievements of the Shang dynasty.

Writing, math, medicine, libraries, road networks, domesticated animals, spiked wheels, the zodiac, astronomy, looms, plows, the legal system, and even beer making and counting in 60s (kinda handy when telling time). These are just a few of the concepts and ideas invented in Mesopotamia that are used today.
