For the first one, you would use a number line to determine this. His starting point is zero. You would draw a line to to 14.6, then subtract 14.6 minus 9.8 which is 4.8. Draw another line to 4.8. Finally, add 5.3 to 4.8. What do you have?

Second one: remember the P.E.M.D.A.S strategy.
Add the numbers 6.89 and 14.52, which is 21.41. Finally combine that with the negative number 14.52. Combing a positive with a negative is basically subtraction, so you have 6.89. Hope I helped.

Answer:

(C) Bonferroni

Explanation:

A Bonferroni test is a type of multiple comparison test used in statistical analysis. It is used when several dependent or independent statistical tests are being performed simultaneously.Bonferroni designed a test or an adjustment to prevent data from incorrectly appearing to be statistically significant.

It is used to counteract the problem of multiple Comparisons.

The Bonferroni correction is appropriate when a single false positive in a set of tests would be a problem. It is mainly useful when there are a fairly small number of multiple comparisons and you're looking for one or two that might be significant.

Please assist with this 2 column proof
OverLord2011 [107]

Answer:

use the symmetric and transitive properties of congruence

Step-by-step explanation:

(1) ∠ABC ≅ ∠DEF and ∠GHI ≅ ∠DEF; given

(2) ∠DEF ≅ ∠GHI; symmetric property of congruence

(3) ∠ABC ≅ ∠GHI; transitive property of congruence (QED)

_____

Additional comment

The transitive property says if A≅B and B≅C, then A≅C. We used the symmetric property to swap sides of the congruence symbol with DEF and GHI to put the statement in the form to match the transitive property.

__

You will note we used the form ...

 (statement number) statement; reason

with statement and reason separated by a semicolon.
