1 day = 24 hours
58 days = 24 x 58
= 1392 hours
30 min = 0.5 hour
1392+15+0.5= 1407.5 hours

As there are 24 hours in a day the required time is:-

58 * 24 + 15 + 0.5

= 1407.4 hours (answer).

Which of the following statements describe the graphs of the solution set flr this inequality select two that apply
Helga [31]

Answer:

1st . The shaded region of the graph ....

2nd. The graph line is solid.

4th. The ordered pair (2 ; 5) is part of the solution set.

Step-by-step explanation:

. Because y is greater or equal than the line, everything above the line is part of the solution.

. Since y is greater or equal, the line is solid. If y was only greater the line would have been dotted.

. The pair (2 ; 5) represent the x = 2 w/ y = 5, and reading the graph you can see the at this point the lines passes through it.

The perimeter of a rectangle is 36m. If its length is increased by 1m and the width is increased by 2m, its area will increase b
maw [93]

Answer:

 80 m^2

Step-by-step explanation:

The given information lets you write two equations involving length (x) and width (y).

 • 2(x +y) = 36 . . . . the perimeter is 36 m
 • (x+1)(y+2) -xy = 30 . . . . increasing the length and width increases area

The second of these equations simplifies to another linear equation, giving a system of linear equations easily solved.

 xy +y +2x + 2 -xy = 30

 2x +y = 28 . . . . . . . subtract 2

Dividing the first equation by 2 gives

 x +y = 18

and subtracting this from the above equation gives ...

 (2x +y) -(x +y) = 28 -18

 x = 10

Then

 y = 18 -10 = 8

The area of the original rectangle is xy = 10·8 = 80 m^2.

6 + −28 − x = -2
-------------
x
nexus9112 [7]
The answer is x=-20.
6+ -28 -x =-2
You first add 28 to each side=6+-x=26 then you minus 6 from each side=-x=20.
Then you divide 20 by -x resulting in x=-20
