The path of a skateboarder along a ramp at a new skate park is shown below, where the starting position is on the left side of t
he ramp. Which statement is true about this situation?
A.
The skateboarder's initial height is 8 feet and he is at ground-level 12 feet from the left edge of the ramp.
B.
The skateboarder's initial height is 16 feet and he is at ground-level 12 feet from the left edge of the ramp.
C.
The skateboarder's initial height is 8 feet and he is at ground-level 24 feet from the left edge of the ramp.
D.
The skateboarder's initial height is 12 feet and he is at ground-level 8 feet from the left edge of the ramp.
On the graph in plato the y axis starts on 8, so that is our initial height. the graph starts to go lower to ground level until it reaches the 12 on the x axis, this is where the skateboarders would meet ground level on the ramp, and obviously the graph is all positive numbers so the start of the ramp would be on the left edge.
the answer is 2/3 and the y intercept is 2. we can find the y intercept because its where the line crosses the y axis and the slope by calculating rise and run using 2 points bebe :)
AAS rule can prove these triangles are congruent cuz u see two angles are marked as equal to each other but the side that’s overlapped on each other(the line the triangles are sharing) shows that the side is equal length to each other.
