D. chemical bonds between reactants.

In a chemical reaction, the reactants break and establish new bonds between atoms by exchanging electrons. The overall atomic mass doesn't change. Element identities only change with a loss or gain of protons, which happen in nuclear reactions. The total number of electrons does not change, just become exchanged or shared between atoms.

Contrast what happens to thermal energy in evaporation and condensation
Alex17521 [72]
Answer - Will try to Answer in simplest form with Reasoning. Since no one responded.

1.Solar-Thermal energy. For example the sun radiates thermal energy aka heat which then turns Liquid aka Water in gas molecules because they are escaping. (Evaporation)

2. Condensation happens when the water molecule vapor clump together before thermal energy can be separated by it. Such as the clouds which they form tiny vapor/mist. Thats why when your on a plane and when you hit thru that cloud at hundreds of mph. Your hitting water molecules lol.

If a cell with 12 chromosomes undergoes mitosis, how many daughter cells result and what is the chromosome number in each daught
VMariaS [17]
Mitosis is a kind of cell division that produces 2 daughter cells that is genetically identical to both the other daughter and the parent cell.

By the word genetically identical, it means that they have the same number of chromosomes.

This process starts by a parent cell doubling their chromosomes, then, it divides, and therefore each daughter cells receive the original number of chromosomes.

Therefore, the answer to this question is 2 cells, 12 chromosomes each.
