Answer: Plane

Step-by-step explanation:

Undefined terms : The terms that is difficult be defined .

There are three undefined terms in geometry .

i)  A point helps to determine the exact position of a figure thus it has no dimension.

ii) A line is a one-dimensional geometric figure that extends upto infinity.

iii) A plane is a flat two-dimensional surface extending in all directions.

A plane can be determined by more than two lines or line and point not on that line.

Thus , the undefined term that can contain parallel lines = Plane

There are not "undefined terms" but they may not have been covered in your course at this point, so what can you do ? Parallel lines will never intersect at a point, and thus lie in the same plane perpendicular lines intersect at exactly one point and form four right angles about that point.

NEED HELP ON THIS ASAP PLS
kotykmax [81]

Answer:

65.4

for this triangle we use the SOHCAHTOA rules because it is a right angled triangle.

so the rule used here is Tan x= \frac{opposite}{adjacent}

Tan (17)= \frac{20}{x}

we cross multiply both sides

\frac{tan(17)}{1} =\frac{20}{x}

tan(17)x=20

x=\frac{20}{tan(17)} =65.41705237

the question said to the nearest tenth, so 65.4 is the final answer

What are the domain and range of the function f(x)=113(x-5)²+4
balandron [24]

<u>Answer:</u>

The domain and range of the given function are  (-\infty,+\infty) and (4,+\infty)

<u>Solution:</u>

Given, function is f(x) = 113(x-5)^{2}+4

f(x) is a polynomial, so there exists no value of x, such that the function becomes undefined, which means the domain of the given function extends from -\infty to +\infty

Domain of f(x) =  (-\infty,+\infty)

Now, we need to find the range of f(x).

f(x) = 113(x-5)^{2}+4 .Here, x is in square term (i.e. (x-5)^{2} )

So for any range of values of x, the value of (x-5)^{2} will always be in the range of 0 to ∞

Numerical term 113 which is product with (x-5)^{2} will have no effect on range.

Because 113 \times 0 = 0 and so the range of function is still 0 to ∞

Second numerical term 4 which is in addition with 113(x-5)^{2} will change the range of function.

Because, 0 + 4 = 4, and ∞ + 4 = ∞

So, the range of the given function f(x) is 4 to ∞

Hence the domain and range of the given function are  (-\infty,+\infty) and (4,+\infty)
