B to the second means b * b.
The short hand for b*b is b^2 on this editor or b^{2}
c to the fourth means c * c * c *c
the short hand for c*c*c*c is c^4 on this editor or  c^{4}

The answer you want is b^2/c^4 in the answer box.
If this is wrong and you have choices, please list them and I will edit or put the answer in a comment.

A scale drawing of an automobile has a scale of 1 inch = 1/2 foot. The actual width of the car is 8 feet. What is the width on t

Maddie converts z = 8(cos(300°) + isin(300°)) into rectangular form z = a + bi and determines that a = 4 and b = 4 StartRoot 3 E
Anastaziya [24]

Answer:

Option C) The value of a is correct, but the value of b is incorrect.

Step-by-step explanation:

z = 8(cos(300°) + isin(300°))

z = 8cos(300°) + 8isin(300°)

z = 4 + i(-4\sqrt{3})\\z=4-i(4\sqrt{3} )\\

So we can see that a = 4 which is correct but b = -4\sqrt{3} and b in the question says it is b 4\sqrt{3} so its incorrect so Option C is your answer.

Two triangles are similar. The smaller triangle has side lengths 10, 20, and 15 units. The larger triangle's longest side is 52
Firdavs [7]

Answer:

117 units

Step-by-step explanation:

if you use the ratio of the two longest sides then you can find all side lengths

\frac{52}{20} = \frac{x}{10};    x = half of 52, or 26

\frac{52}{20} = \frac{x}{15};    20x = 52 · 15

              20x = 780

               x = 39

add to get perimeter: 52 + 26 + 39 = 117 units

The figure below shows two parallel lines cut by a transversal:
lubasha [3.4K]

Answer:

"They add up to 180 degrees, because they are a pair of supplementary angles"

Step-by-step explanation:

When parallel lines are cut by transversal, it creates vertical angles (opposite of each other) that are equal AND also supplementary angles (that are adjacent to each other and fall in one line). They add up to 180 degrees.

Looking at the figure, we see angle 1 and 2 fall in one line which is 180 degrees. Thus, angles 1 and 2 are supplementary, they add up to 180 degrees.

The correct choice is "They add up to 180 degrees, because they are a pair of supplementary angles"
