The amount of profit, p, you earn by selling knives, k, can be determined by: p=200k-500. a) Determine the constraints on profit
Lina20 [59]
Given:

P = 200k - 500

A) To determine the constraints on profit and the value of the number of knives sold, k, let P = 0

P = 200k - 500
0 = 200k - 500

solve for k,

k = 2.5 knives or 3 knives

Two angles form a linear pair. The measure of one angle is 2.6 times the measure of the other angle. Find the measure of each an
LUCKY_DIMON [66]

The ratio of angles is 1 : 2.6 or 5 : 13.

The sum of the angles of a linear pair is 180°. The above ratio tells us that the smaller angle is ...

... 5/(5+13) · 180° = 50°

Then the larger angle is 180° - 50° = 130°

The two angles are 50° and 130°.

Please answer question 2,3 and 4 from the picture above
vesna_86 [32]
For the first question: All you have to do is count the rectangles! So, not including the shaded rectangle, there are 14 that are equal in size. (If your teacher wants you to include the shaded rectangle in your answer, it is 15.)

For the second question: You just have to put the number of shaded rectangles (1) as the top number, or numerator. Then, you put the total number of rectangles as the bottom number, or denominator (15), to get you an answer if 1/15 of the square.

For the third question: the area of the square is 1 meter, so the fractional answer would just be 1/1. You could do it with the rectangles, too, and get 15/15 which reduces to 1/1 as your final answer.

Hope this helps! Good luck!
