Work = Force*Displacement
Work = (20 N)*(4 m)
Work = (20*4) Nm
Work = 80 J

So 80 joules of work is the output. Ideally we'd expect 80 J to be the input but that's not the case. There will always be things like heat loss, leading to some level of inefficiency. So if we input some amount of work, say 100 J, then it might drop to 80 J of actual output work after the wasted energy is accounted for.

In short, you have to put more work in than the work you want out. This is why the answer is choice B) It must be greater than 80 J

Help pls i don’t get it
Assoli18 [71]

Answer:

A = 22.5 m²

Step-by-step explanation:

longest side length

b = √((-7 + 4)² + (-1 - 8)²) = √90

other sides

a = √((-1 + 7)² + (2 + 1)²) = √45

height

h = √((√45)² - (½√90)²) = √22.5

Area of triangle

A = ½bh = ½√90√22.5 = 22.5 m²

a little math shows that this triangle is a tilted half of a square with sides √45

Mars2501 [29]

Answer:

√113

Step-by-step explanation:

As per distance formula:

 • d = \sqrt{(x2-x1)^2 + (y2-y1)^2}

Points are:

 • A(-4, -3) and B(3,5)

So the distance:

 • d = \sqrt{(3+4)^2 + (5+3)^2} = \sqrt{7^2 + 8^2} = \sqrt{49+64} = \sqrt{113}

Answer is √113

How many full cases and additional items are needed to fulfill the order 80 6
Paha777 [63]

The number of cases is 13 and the additional units are 2 if the 80 units needed 6 units per case.

What is a fraction?

Fraction number consists of two parts, one is the top of the fraction number which is called the numerator and the second is the bottom of the fraction number which is called the denominator.

The question is incomplete.

The complete question is:

80 units needed 6 units per case. What are the number of cases and the number of additional units?

Total number of units = 80 units

6 units per case

Number of case = 80/6 = 13.33 ≈ 13

Total units if the number of cases = 13

= 13×6

= 78

Additional units = 80 - 78 = 2 units

Thus, the number of cases is 13 and the additional units are 2 if the 80 units needed 6 units per case.

Marysya12 [62]

Answer:

24/6=c

Step-by-step explanation:

Well to split 24 you need to divide by 6 and that will equal the answer. An equation always has a equal sign so you know that you would be solving for c
