Which organizations evolved during Reconstruction to intimidate black voters and Republicans and prevent them from participating
ratelena [41]

Letter C is correct.

In fact, The Ku Klux Klan was a secret white supremacist group in the U.S which main purpose was to promote violence against jews, black people, and other minorities. By using terrorist methods, these Klans intimidated black voters and Republicans and prevented them from voting and participating in politics. However, in Reconstruction Era, the red shirts had a strong desire to overthrow the reconstruction government and were the ones who used force to terrorize and intimidate freedman and prevent them from voting.

PART A: What are TWO central ideas in this text?
spayn [35]

Answer:

Unknown.

Explanation:

Sorry but you will have to at least provide a sample of the text and which sentences you think may be right so other users can help you and assist you towards the right answer!

Personally from my experience in history and english answer choice A cannot be the answers so you can go ahead and disregard the answer choice! And B is not the answer choice either. Which means this also lead you to C and D from Part A.

Part B: Really hard to understand that as well I suggestion you using the command (Ctrl + F) if you have a PC and type some of those words into the little box if more information is highlighted about that answer within the texts that is the correct answer! (Learn that little trick in school)

Best of luck and hope I could help a little.

_Cheers! :D

How did deregulation of business take place in the 1920s?
sasho [114]
Deregulation is the process of removing or reducing state regulations, typically in the economic sphere. It is the repeal of governmental regulation of the economy. It became common in advanced industrial economies in the 1970s and 1980s, as a result of new trends in economic thinking about the inefficiencies of government regulation, and the risk that regulatory agencies would be controlled by the regulated industry to its benefit, and thereby hurt consumers and the wider economy.
Economic regulations were promoted during the Gilded Age, in which progressive reforms were touted as necessary to limit externalitieslike corporate abuse, unsafe child labor, monopolization, pollution, and to mitigate boom and bust cycles. Around the late 1970s, such reforms were deemed as burdensome on economic growth and many politicians espousing neoliberalism started promoting deregulation.
