Answer:

total length of trip = 340km

u have done 260km

Step-by-step explanation:

you've already done 13/17 of the trip so 1-13/17=4/17 of the trip left

4/17 of the trip = 80km

total length of trip = 80*17/4 = 340km

u have done 340 - 80 = 260km

Hey!!

Let’s take the total distance as ‘x’

We have completed 13/17th of the trip.

We have 80 km left.

With this, we understand that :

13/17 th of the trip is total distance - 80

.... 13x/17 = x - 80

... 13x = 17x - 1360

... -4x =- 1360

... x = -1360 / -4

... x = 340.

340 km is the totla distance .

We have travelled 13/17 th.

... 13/17 * 340

... 13 * 20

... 260

Hence, the distance we have travelled is 260 km.

Hope my answer helps!!

How can we find the volume of a cone? explain in brief .
densk [106]

\sf volume \ of \ cone = \dfrac{1}{3} \pi r^2h     ** where "r" is radius and "h" is height **

\sf volume \ of \ cylinder= \pi r^2h

\boxed{ \sf \tfrac{1}{3}} as it refers to the volume of cone being 1/3 of the the volume of cylinder

Hardest, example:

given height of cone is 69 km and radius is 48 km

using the formula:

\hookrightarrow \sf volume \ of \ cone = \dfrac{1}{3} \pi (48)^2(69)

\hookrightarrow \sf volume \ of \ cone = 52992\pi

\hookrightarrow \sf volume \ of \ cone = 166479.3 \ km^3
