There's a lot going on, but the main thing to focus on really is the equation
AE+EB = CF+FD

and on the equation
EB = CF

Because the second equation (shown above) is true, we can effectively replace the "EB" with "CF" like so
AE+EB = CF+FD
AE+CF = CF+FD

Then we can subtract CF from both sides
AE+CF = CF+FD
AE+CF-CF = CF+FD-CF
AE = FD

When I subtracted CF from both sides, I used the Subtraction Property of Equality, which is the answer needed to go into the blank.

First it's not "equivolent" but "equivalent".

Second it's not "five-sixth" but "five sixths".

Third five sixths is just five sixths you cannot simplify it further.

Hope this helps mathematically and grammatically.

Sum of two numbers is -32 what number is two less than the other
raketka [301]

First no. = z

Second no. = z - 2

z + (z - 2) = -32

z + z - 2 = -32

2z - 2 = -32

2z = -32 + 2

2z = -30

z = -30/2

z = -15

First no. = -15
