Bullying can lead to both physical and psychological issues. Although both are extremely dangerous, they are corralted as the physical effects of bullying could lead to short- and long-term psychological issues.

The physical effects could range from physical attacks to severe injuries. However, psychological abuse could also lead to physical issues throughout the life of the bullied individual. For example, physical (neurological) studies show that bullying could lead to chronic stress and trauma, physical chronic pain, recurrent headaches and stomacaches, as well as long-term sleep disturbances.

Moreover, bullying leads to an increase of stress hormones which causes an important and, in some cases, long-term imbalance in the immune system.
