We have an equation: ?/45= 24/100

Cross multiply:
100*? = 24*45
⇒ ?= 24*45/100= 10.8

24% out of 45 is 10.8~

The volume of a cube is 1000mm3. What is the length of its side?
Damm [24]
A cube's volume is length * hight * width

since it is a cube, length hight width are all the same.

so we can use variable x to represent it.

x*x*x

which is
{ x}^{3}

so

{x}^{3}  = 1000
cube root both sides

x =  \sqrt[3]{1000}  = 10

length of its side is 10

Fred can run 12 miles in 1 hour and can bike 30 miles in 2 hours. What percent of Fred’s average biking speed is his average run
S_A_V [24]

first thing you have to do is find the rate for the bike so you divide 30 by 2 and you get 15 after you do that you make a problem to find the percentage so you take x/100 and 12/15 then you take 12 times 100 and that gives you 1200 then you divide by 15 and get 80. So the answer is 80%

What is the solution set of this system of equations? y=x2−7 y=−x+5 The solution set of a system of equations is the set of all
iogann1982 [59]

Answer:

The answer to your question is (-4, 9) and (3, 2)

Step-by-step explanation:

Data

Equation 1    y = x² - 7

Equation 2   y = -x + 5

Process

1.- Substitute Equation 2 in equation 1

                    -x + 5 = x² - 7

2.- Equal to zero

                    x² + x - 7 - 5 = 0

                    x² + x - 12 = 0

3.- Factor to find x

                   (x + 4)(x - 3) = 0

                x₁ + 4 = 0        x₂ - 3 = 0

                x₁ = -4             x₂ = 3

4.- Substitute x₁ and x₂ to find y

                y = -x + 5        x₁ = -4

                y = -(-4) + 5

                y = 4 + 5

                y = 9            Solution (-4, 9)

                y = -x + 5         x₂ = 3

                y = -3 + 5

               y = 2            Solution (3, 2)

Set up and solve an equation for the value of x. Use the value of x and a relevant angle relationship in the diagram
Fudgin [204]

Answer:

x and EAF are 27 degrees

Step-by-step explanation:

Since GAF is a right angle as indicated by the little square, GAC and CAF must add up to 90 degrees. Therefore, x is 90-63=27 degrees. The situation is the same for angle EAF. Hope this helps!
