The perimeter is simple enough, just add all the lengths.
10+5+2+2+2+3+8+7+2+3= 44 inches = Perimeter

Now let's solve the area:
Step 1 let's get the area of the 10-inch square and deduct the missing square and rectangle.
10²=A = 100 in²
Now let's solve the 2-inch square a= 2²= A 4²
Now the rectangle is given l=7 w=2 = A = 14 in²

now subtract 100-4-14= 82 in² is the Area if the Figure

Thus: Area = 82 in² & Perimeter = 44 inches

Find the values of x1 and x2 where the following two constraints intersect.
Arte-miy333 [17]

Answer: x1 = 251/26, x2 = -111/26

Step-by-step explanation:

Hi!

As you can see in the figure, the point you are looking for is the intersection of two lines.

The intersection point is found solving this system of linear equations (the point must satisfy both equations):

9x_1 +7x_2=57\\4x_1 + 6x_2 = 13

You can solve it, for example, by the method of substitution:

\text{solve for x1 in the first equation:}\\x_1 = \frac{1}{9}(57 - 7x_2)

Then plug x1 into equation 2, and solve for x2:

\frac{4}{9}(57-7x_2) + 6x_2 = 13\\\text{doing the algebra you get:}\\x_2 = \frac{-111}{26}

Then you use the value of x2 to get x1:

x_1 = \frac{1}{9}(57 - 7x_2)= \frac{1}{9}(57 + 7*\frac{111}{26}) = 251/26\\

Asher has about a probability of winning then Ethan has which could be the outcome that Ashlee needs to win the game select thre
mash [69]

Answer:

There are 36 total possible outcomes.

Rolling a sum of 11 or higher, there are 3 possible rolls, to make a 3/36 = 1/12 probability.

Rolling a sum of 4 there are also 3 possibilities, so the chance would be the same.

Rolling a sum of 9, there are 4 possibilities, which is a better chance.

Rolling a sum less than 5, there is 6 possibilities, which is a better chance.

Rolling greater than 5 but less than 7 means rolling a sum of 6, there are 5 chances, which is a better chance.

Rolling greater than 9 but less than 11, means rolling a 10, there are 3 possibilities, which is the same.

Rolling greater than 2 and less than 4 means rolling a 3, there are 2 possibilities, which is less.

The answers would be:

Rolling a sum of 9,

Rolling a sum less than 5

Rolling greater than 5 but less than 7
