How is ferdinand different from caliban in his relationship to miranda? why does he pledge to keep her honor safe?

Lubov Fominskaja [6]3 years ago

The main difference between them is that Ferdinand is an honorable man who fell in love and Caliban wanted her only for himself and wanted to "defile her honor" and "fill an island with their offspirng", also Caliban wanted to kill Miranda’s father whereas Ferdinand wanted to make him his father-in-law.

His pledge of love is made on the fact that her honor won’t be defiled by such a primal instinct but will be protected and cherished by him until the day he dies.

A cross-sectional research design is demonstrated as a kind of observation study that involves the study and analysis of a representative subset from the population at a particular point of time.

In the given example, Tucker is employing 'cross-sectional research design' as he selects a representative subset('a group of 5-year-olds, a group of 10-year-olds, and a group of 15-year old) from the population at the same time for study and analysis(by interviewing them) . This implies that Tucker adopts a '<u>cross-sectional research design</u>.'
